DS 140- Photoshop: Image Manipulation 

ASSIGNMENT- Gain an understanding of how to use illustrator and its tools by creating a visually engaging scene from a story of your choice. 

 

PROJECT- This composition is a depiction of a scene from the song “the last great american dynasty” by Taylor Swift. The song follows a story of a young woman named Rebekah who marries a very wealthy man and lives a lavish lifestyle. Many years after Rebekah and her husband die, Taylor buys the house and is struck with the history she finds there. My composition was inspired by a quote from the song: “50 years is a long time, Holiday House sat quietly on that beach... And then it was bought by me.” I used low opacity and gray to present certain elements as memories. The house stands out and remains in color because it is being brought into the present day by Taylor.
