ASSIGNMENT- Create a sketch, collage, and three study models to show the process of the installation project and how it is intended to look once completed. 

 

PROJECT- The installation covers the issue of plastic waste produced by the food industry. The goal of our installation is to show how plastic packaging stays in the environment as waste long after the food is gone. 

 

My black and white sketch is a detailed representation of how our proposed installation would look, so that we could easily visualize it in the space. Each study model is a different representation of how the trash would fall from the shopping list, which helped determine what we wanted to do with the floor space surrounding the installation. Our final installation was in some ways similar to our initial design idea, however we made many changes along the way which showed our creative process.
